The Prodigy, NYE Show

PROBLEM
The O2’s NYE event is revered as the biggest in the UK. The headline slot was given to the mighty Prodigy. Myself and the team were tasked to brand and create a series of material to build hype for the event.


SOLUTION
In the run-up to the event we created a teaser video, flyers and promotional packs of stickers to get people excited and drive ticket sales.
For the main show, we wanted to create something inspired by The Prodigy’s rave heritage. We collaborated with laser specialists to build a  spectacular 15m tall laser show that ramped up into ‘the bongs’ and cemented itself into 50,000 ravers memories through phone videos shared to social media.



EXECUTION

The event was seen as a huge success by the client, and the lucky ones who managed to pick up a ticket talked about how blown away they were by our section of the show online, some even making their own video edits of the day/night and sending them in to us.


RESULTS
Social media swell of videos and pictures from the event, cementing The o2’s position as the number 1 spot for the biggest NYE party in the UK. One of their most successful NYE shows to date.
